🌉 About This Piece:
Highway 101 North is a beautiful drive from San Francisco up to Arcata, winding through towering redwood forests, along the Eel River, and past some of Northern California’s most beautiful scenery. With wildflowers growing along the roadside and trees stretching high above the highway, it’s a drive that feels like a little escape into nature.
This print is based on my original collage, made with painted paper from a local publication I picked up in Arcata, real tree bark, dried sea moss, and pressed flowers. Featuring the winding highway, the Eel River, and the surrounding redwood forests, it captures a little piece of the magic of driving up the Northern California coast.
